Shopping For The Perfect Gym Wear
Workout Gear |
Survey
Work out gear is not always easy to find. Leggings nowadays are either too shear or too thick, baggy pants are too baggy or too tight, finding what fits needs research. I did some experimenting and found that Addidas for Stella McCartney, Victoria’s Secret and Lulu Lemon are my favorites. Not only do they look and feel good, but also they are very durable. However, sometimes the prices are a bit too much. I would like for you to take this survey I’ve created to get a better understanding of your needs and preferences.
Why Should You Do It?
By getting the results of this survey, I would have a better understanding of what to research and experiment in. Also, I would love to know all of your favorite brands and maybe even learn about new ones myself.

The BEST Workout App on iTunes!
Even though I always make time for the gym, sometimes there
are those days where it’s impossible to get away from work or school. I have found
the solution to those days, the Nike Training Club. A Nike app on iTunes that gives
you complete workouts that caters to your needs. And best of all, it’s FREE.
Why download it?
It has videos that show you how to
perform the workouts needed. For example, if it’s time to do burpees, a video
is available to show you what exactly is a burpee and how it should be done. For those of you who don’t know what burpee’s
are, this application is a definite must for you! It teaches you everything
from A to Z.
Specify Your Needs |
It is truly a personal trainer anytime, anywhere. I highly recommend this app.
Common Misconceptions of Weight Loss
Why can’t I lose weight? Why is it easier on others? I’ve
encountered a lot of people who keep on repeating these questions to themselves; convinced that they are stuck with how they look. As long as you have the desire and
willingness to lose weight, don’t let misconceptions deceive you.
Misconceptions
1.
Going to the gym and lifting weights will make
you big and bulky. The truth: this is anything but true because lifting weights
will replace fat and in return burn more calories which will help you lose
weight faster.
2.
The only way to lose weight is to starve
yourself. The truth: depriving yourself from regular meals and desired food
will automatically send a message to your brain to store food in your body
because it switches to survival mode. This technique always ends up with a
binge that will leave you feeling worse and heavier.
3.
Removing chocolate from your diet completely.
The truth: “chocolate eaters tend to be skinnier, study shows.” This does not mean you can eat 30 kilos of chocolate and lose weight. However, an occasional indulgence keeps you from binging.
4.
Cutting meals will make you lose weight faster.
The truth: your body needs food to start your metabolism. By skipping meals,
your metabolism will slow down because there is nothing to digest. To lose
weight, it is recommended to eat every 2-3 hours, by either snacking or having
a meal. Check out snacks under 100
calories here. I personally love the cucumber salad and below is a video on how to make it.
Calorie Counting
Make The Healthier Choice |
By
eating regularly and counting your calorie intake, weight loss is inevitable.
For people who have reached desperation and truly believe they are unable to
lose weight, you must first take a blood test to make sure everything is fine,
and second create a food journal to count your calories. This technique never goes wrong if you are dedicated to your journal. Shoot me an email if you need advice.
